Awful Rainbow

2010

Buried under masses of text, tables, facts, and figures, lies a different kind of information altogether. It, too, is science, but not as many of us are able to experience it.

With this mass removed, one can feel the immediate impact of science as one would a work of art. These books are about confronting reality through science in a visceral way, in which the literal digging into the books reveals the invisible.

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science."
--Albert Einstein
